- Additional charges may apply if your delivery address is in the Scottish Highlands and Islands.
- A member of our team will contact you prior to processing your order should an additional delivery charge apply or alternatively please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Delivery Lead Times
- All of our estimated delivery times are based on a Monday to Friday 5-day working week (excluding UK Bank Holidays), so please bear this in mind when ordering.
- Please note that any order(s) received after 4:00pm may not be processed until the next working day.
- Please be assured that we make every effort to ensure orders are delivered by the date required although we cannot guarantee availability at time of order.
- Any known variation to our advertised 2 to 3-day service will be advised to you by email or telephone.
Delivery Arrangements & Offloading
- We utilise the services of our in-house logistics partner and various National Carriers and so products will be packed onto non-returnable pallets and generally delivered on 7.5 tonne vehicles with a tail lift or similar.
- All of our delivery charges are based on delivery to kerbside only and the customer being available to accept and offload the goods.
- The goods being supplied are very heavy and so this includes the ability or willingness from the customer to manually offload the goods, or on a majority of occasions having mechanical offloading facilities available such as a forklift or pallet truck.
- Individual product weights can be found in the “Technical Information” area within our website.
- If you need any additional information or have any specific requests regarding the delivery of your order, you can let us know at the time of your order by entering them in relevant ‘Special Instructions” in the box provided. Alternatively, please feel free to give us a call, please have your order number ready.
Restricted Access
- Please contact us to discuss delivery if you have any concerns regarding delivery such as restricted access or if our vehicles will experience difficulties in reaching you.
- We consider restricted access to be but not limited to if our drivers encounter double yellow lines, a red route, narrow lanes, steep hills, low bridges, or width restricted roads and/ or unsafe or uneven offloading conditions.
- If we are unable to make a delivery because access is not possible, we reserve the right to refuse to make a delivery or offload the goods if you have not informed us prior to delivery of any access restrictions. This may also involve a failed delivery charge.
Multiple Deliveries
- In an ongoing effort to reduce our carbon footprint, we constantly review our transport arrangements to see that they optimise the delivery process, by ensuring that your goods reach you having done the least possible road miles.
- Therefore, we aim to deliver a vast majority of orders in a single consignment. However depending on stock availability, , on occasion some orders may be split into more than one delivery so you are not kept waiting for those items that are immediately available.
- In this situation you will only be charged once for delivery and we will notify you each time a part of your order has been dispatched so that you can keep track of your items.
- If we become aware of stock difficulties, which will affect delivery timescales, we will let you know by telephone or email.
Accepting Your Delivery
- Please check your goods thoroughly before signing for them.
- Do not accept damaged products.
- Orders signed for “unchecked” will be deemed to have been received in good condition.
- As soon as the order has been delivered to your requested delivery address, the risk of any damage or loss passes to you.
